About BodyTite

Most people have both loose skin and areas of excessive fat on their body that they would like to correct without an invasive body lift and surgical liposuction. BodyTite is a revolutionary, minimally invasive liposuction treatment that also tightens your skin with very little recovery time. The radiofrequency-assisted liposuction (RFAL) in BodyTite allows cosmetic plastic surgeon Dr. William Vinyard to efficiently help his patients in Port Saint Lucie, FL to improve their body contours. BodyTite is approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to safely remove fat and tighten skin without scars for fast results. Schedule a consultation at Vinyard Institute of Plastic Surgery to learn more about BodyTite, as well as other treatment options for sagging skin and fat removal.

AccuTite

InMode’s AccuTite is a small handheld system that is used to address specific problem areas on the body. The size of the device enables greater control and precision to achieve the most stunning and natural-looking results possible. AccuTite delivers RF-assisted lipolysis just like the BodyTite system but on a smaller scale for focused target areas. The results provide leaner-looking contours for an overall sculpted shape.

Ideal Candidates

BodyTite can help if you want to see better contours and skin tightness in one or multiple areas of your body. You may be a candidate for BodyTite if you want to eliminate pockets of fat and improve the look of sagging, wrinkled skin. You may have considered traditional liposuction or body lift surgery but would prefer to avoid surgical downtime and scarring. Most areas of the body can be treated with BodyTite, but some of the common areas patients need help with are the arms, stomach, chest, knees, and thighs. In your consultation, Dr. Vinyard will listen to your needs and wants before helping you decide if BodyTite or another procedure is right for you.

Surgical Technique

BodyTite is usually performed with local anesthesia, but general anesthesia may be used if you are nervous or having several areas treated. The specially designed BodyTite applicator is inserted through minimal incisions in your skin. BodyTite has an internal and external thermometer that will protect you from burns. The applicator will loosen and liquefy the fat with radiofrequency waves so the fat can be easily suctioned out of your body. The heat used during the fat removal will tighten your skin and connective tissue for instant skin contraction. BodyTite treatments normally take about 30 – 45 minutes per area treated. Multiple sessions may be needed or recommended by Dr. Vinyard to deliver your best results.

What to Expect

You will need to rest at home for 5 – 10 days after your BodyTite treatment. A compression garment should be worn over the treated areas to promote healing while maintaining your new shape. Some results may be seen immediately, but final results will not be apparent for 3 – 6 months as the swelling and inflammation subside. While the fat that is removed cannot return, the remaining fat can become larger if you gain weight so it is very important to maintain a healthy, stable weight after your BodyTite treatment.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does BodyTite cost?
The cost of your BodyTite procedure will depend on the number of areas being addressed and your cosmetic goals. During your private consultation, Dr. Vinyard can discuss your needs and concerns to create your personalized treatment plan. Once your treatment is developed, he can review your estimated costs.

Surgical options?
Vinyard Institute of Plastic Surgery offers many body lift surgeries that can help attain the results you've been dreaming of. Typically, a surgical lift is the best option when it comes to removing loose skin, but if you are not ready for an invasive procedure or wish to a avoid lengthy recovery, then BodyTite is a great option.

What is radiofrequency?
Radiofrequency (RF) is an advanced energy that uses electrical currents to create controlled heat. This heat is then used to target and liquefy fat cells without harming the surrounding tissue. It also helps promote collagen and elastin for tighter, healthier skin.

Is it safe?
Yes, as an FDA-approved treatment, BodyTite is a safe cosmetic procedure and is popular with both women and men. The procedure itself is very gentle, and most individuals are able to return to light activities shortly after treatment. More vigorous activities can be resumed in about 5 – 10 days, but this can differ.
