Tighten Vaginal Tissues

Advanced age, pregnancy, childbirth, and genetics contribute to labia laxity. This can cause significant discomfort and embarrassment for women, especially during intimate times or when wearing tight clothing. Board-certified cosmetic plastic surgeon William Vinyard, MD, FACS is excited to offer FEMtite by InMode at the Vinyard Institute of Plastic Surgery (VIPS) in Port Saint Lucie, FL, to tighten the vaginal tissues.

What Is FEMtite?

FEMtite is a minimally invasive cosmetic procedure that uses radiofrequency (RF) technology to tighten and rejuvenate the tissues in the vaginal area. It's designed to address a range of concerns, including vaginal laxity, urinary incontinence, and reduced sexual satisfaction. FEMtite is often chosen by individuals seeking non-surgical alternatives to more invasive vaginal rejuvenation procedures. If you are struggling with the appearance of your body because of loose skin, call our office to schedule a private consult today.

I definitely recommend the FEMtite procedure. I'm over 50 and was experiencing pain. The procedure has helped me tremendously! Mary was very good and made sure I was comfortable during the procedure. The office is also clean, beautifully decorated, and in a great location.

Who Is a Candidate?

Ideal candidates for FEMtite are women with loose skin or tissue along the vaginal lips or labia majora. Women considering this procedure should be at or near a healthy weight and past childbearing. Extreme weight fluctuation can alter your result, so we encourage patients to wait for this procedure if they are still planning on growing their family. All patients will privately consult Dr. Vinyard to determine whether this treatment suits their needs.

Your Consultation

In your consultation with Dr. Vinyard, he ensures you receive his complete focus, dedicating roughly 1 to 1.5 hours to your needs. This dedicated time allows you space to openly share your thoughts and worries while Dr. Vinyard assesses your candidacy for the procedure. Together, you engage in a thorough conversation about your body contouring objectives, collaboratively crafting a personalized plan aligned with your vision. Dr. Vinyard values transparency and ensures he sets realistic expectations for your procedure and a transparent cost estimate.

What Is the Technique?

FEMtite utilizes a unique handheld device that safely and effectively emits radiofrequency-assisted lipolysis (RFAL) to the labia majora to target the internal and external tissue to achieve a tighter contour. The FEMtite system enables Dr. Vinyard to reduce lax skin without surgically removing the loose tissue through traditional methods used in a labiaplasty.

The small handheld device delivers controlled RF energy to the tissues, stimulating collagen production and causing the tissues to contract and tighten. This minimally invasive technology requires only a minor incision to insert the device to attain stunning results. Outcomes also improve over the next 3-6 months and are long-lasting.

What to Expect

FEMtite is considered an outpatient procedure, so you are free to return home once your treatment is complete. Since it's minimally invasive, you can resume your usual activities. Still, you may need to hold off on using tampons and engaging in sexual activity for a short period. Dr. Vinyard will let you know when you can resume these activities. On average, most women only need one treatment to produce the desired results.

FAQ

How much does the procedure cost?

The cost of FEMtite will depend on the level of laxity you have along your vaginal lips and your cosmetic goals. Dr. Vinyard can review your condition during your initial visit and create a custom treatment plan. From there, he can estimate your costs. Our office accepts many payments and often offers monthly specials.

Is it painful?

A local anesthetic will be used during your FEMtite procedure to provide the greatest comfort possible. Many patients find the procedure to be very tolerable. With a traditional labiaplasty, excess skin is surgically removed, which means a lengthy recovery time and lingering pain. However, since FemTite is minimally invasive and utilizes a specialized device to shrink the loose tissue, there is little to no recovery or discomfort.

How long will my results last?

A great benefit of FEMtite is that results will continue to improve over the next 3-6 months, with the ultimate results seen after 12 weeks. Patients can enjoy their results for years to come if they maintain a healthy weight and are past childbearing.
