As its name implies, you’ve probably already gathered that FACEtite treats the facial area best! But, which parts of the face does FACEtite treat best? And what is FACEtite, anyways? To read more about how you can reduce wrinkles, creases, and loose skin via one of the most premier nonsurgical cosmetic tools, keep reading!

What Is FACEtite?

FACEtite is a state-of-the-art, non-surgical, minimally-invasive way to combat the visible effects of aging on the face by harnessing the power of radiofrequency-assisted lipolysis. Dr. Vinyard uses the handheld tool to heat the skin and underlying fatty tissue, causing fat cells to liquefy. This process encourages collagen to produce much quicker than it otherwise would and tightens the skin over time. The temperature and amount of radiofrequency energy delivered are constantly monitored for safety. Because FACEtite releases radiofrequency energy, a percentage of fat cells are destroyed at the same time as the skin is encouraged to contract. This results in a youthful, tighter facial appearance that lasts.

What Areas Can FACEtite Treat?

Because the face is such a delicate area, aesthetics and a skillful hand are of prime importance. William J. Vinyard, MD, FACS, has dedicated his entire life to the art of plastic surgery and prides himself in his artistic abilities and medical know-how. When it comes to FACEtite, Dr. Vinyard chooses to target smaller areas of the face such as lines and skin under the eyes, loose skin around the chin and neck area, and jowls. Since FACEtite is an incredibly precise tool, it is exceptionally preferred when treating these small face areas. FACEtite is best suited to treat these areas:

  • The neck
  • The lower jowls
  • The jawline
  • The nasolabial folds (smile lines)
  • Around the eyes, including the sides and the under eye

FACEtite vs. Facelift

FACEtite can deliver similar results as a facelift for some patients while being less invasive and involving less downtime. A facelift is a surgical procedure that includes incisions and shaping the muscle and skin. FACEtite involves heating the skin to destroy fat cells and increase collagen production. For some, a facelift is a way to achieve their goals. For others, depending on their goals, target areas, and preferences, FACEtite may be a better and more convenient alternative than a facelift, all while delivering the same results!

Does FACEtite Scar?

Many patients worry about facial incisions and whether they will scar, and rightfully so! It would defeat the purpose of facial anti-aging treatments for any cosmetic procedure to leave facial scarring. Fortunately, FACEtite’s incisions are so small that it leaves no visible scarring. This means that your skin will stay smooth, and your results will be as youthful as possible.

Is FACEtite Painless?

Here at the Vinyard Institute of Plastic Surgery, patient comfort is crucial to us. We make sure that our patients feel safe, comfortable, and confident from consultation until postoperative care. The FACEtite procedure is no different. We use local anesthesia during the procedure, and we carefully monitor the tool’s heat to ensure that it’s kept at a comfortable, safe level. Additionally, FACEtite is a very gentle tool, and most patients report no difficulty in feeling comfortable.

While we do our best to make our patients as pain-free as possible, it’s essential to remember that cosmetic procedures—including FACEtite—are medical procedures. This means that FACEtite may cause some discomfort during and after the procedure. For FACEtite, some level of discomfort is average and ought to be expected. Nonetheless, we here at VIPS take every measure to ensure that this discomfort is kept to an absolute minimum. And due to the FACEtite tool’s small diameter and gentle approach, there is usually little to worry about in terms of pain. Nonetheless, if there’s anything we can do for you—including playing music, singing, moving at a slower pace, or making specific accommodations—we would love to make that happen!
